A Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an individual that possesses a thorough understanding of enhanced problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) model. The Green Belt Certification designation also reflects the knowledge by the individual to serve as a trained team member within his or her function-specific area of the organization. This focus allows the Green Belt to work on small, carefully defined Six Sigma projects, requiring less than a Black Belt’s full-time commitment to Six Sigma throughout the organization.
This course would be six days. Two 3-day weeks. We suggest Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The second 3-day week should be 2-6 weeks apart from the first 3-day week to give the students an opportunity to gather data for their projects. This course would require project work. We suggest that people from the same organization team up and work on one project. Mary and I will be available virtually to coach the students through their projects.
