Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification-Brief Description
A Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is an individual who has significant knowledge of Lean Six Sigma. A certified Yellow Belt has a good understanding of the five phases of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) model, but does not lead projects on their own. A Yellow Belt participates as a contributing team member or subject matter expert (SME) on a project. In addition, Yellow Belts may often be responsible for running smaller process improvement projects that do not require the rigor of a Six Sigma project.
This course will be three days. We suggest Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This course requires the completion of an in-class simulation.

A Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an individual that possesses a thorough understanding of enhanced problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) model. The Green Belt Certification designation also reflects the knowledge by the individual to serve as a trained team member within his or her function-specific area of the organization. This focus allows the Green Belt to work on small, carefully defined Six Sigma projects, requiring less than a Black Belt’s full-time commitment to Six Sigma throughout the organization.
This course will be six days. Two 3-day weeks. We suggest Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This course will require the completion of an in-class simulation. Real world- project application is encouraged.
